Scolecite is a zeolite mineral a monoclinic crystal system and a hardness of 5 to 5.5. It can be colorless, white or yellowish. It has been found in deposits in Teigarhorn, Iceland and Poona, India. It said to be a stone of inner peace, communication, and spiritual awakening.
